Boosting Leverage: Three Easy Automations I Use in My Business

Time is the one resource I can never earn back, so I try to be intentional with it. I don’t know about you, but spending time in my inbox and playing phone tag with clients does NOT count in my book as “time well spent.”

Enter automation. Here are three easy automation I use to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

1. **Client Scheduling**

Instead of emailing back and forth with availabilities, I use Calendly for scheduling. By integrating it with my personal calendar and availability, clients and potential clients can quickly see the time options available and match find a slot that works for them. I even set up automated reminders before sessions to reduce no-shows.

2. **Task and Goal Tracking**

Creating up to 20 courses for different clients in a month means I have to track a lot of moving parts. I use Asana to create individual boards for each client. I can assign tasks and set deadlines for my team, and allow them to mark their progress on a given task.

Automated reminders and notifications can also play a role here. ASANA can send automated reminders of upcoming tasks or milestones through email or SMS to keep them engaged and accountable. These automated nudges ensure that we’re staying on track.

3. **Feedback and Follow-Up Surveys**

I want my clients to easily be able to gather feedback and testimonials for their courses. To do this, we use feedback surveys through platforms like Google Forms or Typeform. This not only saves time on manual follow-ups but also encourages honest feedback as clients can provide input anonymously if needed.

These are just simple examples that take less than 30 minutes to configure, free up valuable time, enhance client experiences, and elevate my overall efficiency. Now THAT is 30 minutes well spent!

If you’re starting to feel like a broken record in your business- saying the same things over and over again to your clients and customers- it’s a good sign it’s time to automate your information!
